In Memory of Cassandra

Women be wise, keep your mouth shut, don't advertise your man Don't sit around gossiping, explaining what your good man really can do Some women nowadays, Lord they ain't no good They will laugh in your face, Then try to steal your man from you Women be wise, keep your mouth shut, don't advertise your man Don't be no fool

Wooohoo for red hair and sunlight!

OK, so a friend of mine sent me a note that this picture of me reminded him of Rita Hayworth, which in most of the pictures I've seen of her I don't really see, however this one, because of which I accept the compliment. =-)

I've been thinking today, while listening to Meredith Brooks' song "Bitch", about all the many faces of me. I wouldn't say that the song appropriately characterizes me, because I'm not shy about tears, at least not around that certain someone. But I took the sentiment of the song to heart.

I've been thinking about who I am lately. I haven't been the best daughter, or sister, or granddaughter, and life seems to give me every opportunity to make up for it, however I'm still sitting here thinking about it.

The worst thing in the world is a wasted opportunity to be the person you know you'd be happier being.

God Only Knows

I may not always love you
But long as there are stars above you
You never need to doubt it
I’ll make you so sure about it

God only knows what I’d be without you

If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me

God only knows what I’d be without you

God only knows what I’d be without you

If you should ever leave me
Well life would still go on believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me

God only knows what I’d be without you
God only knows what I’d be without you

Not much to say, other than that I miss someone. Very much.
