Fountain of Sorrow

Looking through some photographs I found inside a drawer
I was taken by a photograph of you
There were one or two I know that you would have liked a little more
but they didnt show your spirit quite as true.

You were turning around to see who was behind you
And I took your childish laughter by surprise

there was just a trace of sorrow in your eyes.

Now the things that I remember seem so distant so small
though it hasnt really been that long a time
What I was seeing wasnt what was happening at all
although for a while our path did seem to climb

**Truths of the Year**

*The people who love you the most forgive you the easiest. If they forgive you.

*Expos is not indicitive of your future success. Unless you got an A, in which case you can count on a hefty salary upon graduation. I have not gotten an A.

*Real friends will be there at 2 in the morning when you got none of the classes you tried to register for, and they will help you find enough credits to make you a full time student.

*Real friends will share a box of chocolate chip cookies with you while you cry your relationship worries to them.

*The people you used to cherish, never disappear.

*I am younger than my ideas.

*seat belts are important, for other people.

*quoting song lyrics isnt good during an argument, even if they perfectly sum up how you feel, most of the time it comes off as impersonal and detached
