Alright so now i have another job. Im a high endurance babysitter. I will be babysitting two little girls possibly from 8:15 in the morning to 6 pm at night starting at 3 days a week and hopefully working its way down to one. Its my understanding that these days will be mondays, wednesdays and fridays. This means that on mondays from 8-6 i will be babysitting, then from 6-9 i'll be at the pharmacy and then collapsing probably. Sure its nice to know that you are being paid for your entire day, but "im not a machine". Then wednesday I'll babysit from 8-6 and then have dinner with my dad at 6 and afterward i'll have some time of my own. And then friday will be the other day most likely and friday is really the only day that I like to cover hours at the pharmacy sometimes from 6-9.

Oh yeah.. we oughta take it easy.

sigh... I know I said that I wanted to make my schedule busy so that I didnt feel bored and forgotten.... but I might have just been crowned the queen of over-kill.

Days like yesterday are few and far between. (To use a trite expression...sorry bob)

My family was late as usual, but that didnt stop them from staying extra late and singing at the top of their lungs to mary poppins. =-) I really love my family, they are a happy bunch. My aunt maureen couldnt make it, but everyone else did. Jill and Joe and Ally came, and together with danny's help we had a good time. It was really great to have jill there, I feel like I dont really see her enough, and I still feel bad about how prom turned out regarding her. She gave me the most kick ass gift. She framed a picture of me and her from this year and on the front of the border she wrote all our inside jokes. She also gave me a towel with twister on it, and a water-proof spin board... hehe. And she also gave me a lil picture album and the first picture in it is of joe and i at prom, and its black and white. Its a beautiful picture, I looked at it all night. Its captivating.. well it was for me. so thank you jill.

Ally made blondies for the party, and I had already talked her up to everyone before she got there, so I could see my family's eyes light up when I told them who made them. hehe There is no denying talent.. and ally, u've got it. yum And we survived talk of college and playing spoons, although toward the end (oh yeah cuz i was great at first) I began to fall behind. No talk of spoon river tho. So unfortunate. Good stuff tho.

And Joe was there too. I seem to remember Shylock ... j/k no no really just kidding. He is way too good for me. My family thought jill and ally were just delightful and seemed to really like joe. My aunt christine said she thought he was "pretty cute". Not that I needed affirmation, but it did make me feel proud. When I went in to see my grandma during the party while everyone was playing monopoly and my aunt mary was helping danny my grandma asked if my aunt was being overbearing yet and i just smiled and they knew and that might be another reason why they liked joe and ally. Im not really going to explain that, but know that you were admired.

But yeah joe was a sweetheart, even after i was triple crowned asshole he still gave me a kiss to prove mr wicke correct yet again-- germans sometimes dont mind dating beneath themselves. and boy am i glad. Tho i think that im quite possibly the perfect complament to him... he deals the cards faster than my mind can handle, and i hand them back to him completely out of turn and somehow end up holding half a dozen. I might not have 100% deserved the "you're not a strategic person" line.. but when you spend an entire day with ur wonderful girlfriend and her wonderful family.. ur allowed a few "creepy" criticisms. Cuz thats what makes us such a creepy couple. jus the way we like it.
