On the Other Side
I'm tired of, everyone I know
Of everyone... I see...
on the street and on TV, yeah
On the other side, on the other side
Nobody's waiting for me on the other side
I hate them all, I hate them all
I hate myself for hating them
So drink some more, I'll love them all
I'll drink even more...
I'll hate them even more than I did before
On the other side, on the other side
Nobody's waiting for me on the other side
I remember when you came
You... taught me how to sing
Now... it's seems so far away
You... taught me how to say
I'm tired of
Being so judgemental of everyone
I will not go to sleep
I will train my eyes to see
That my mind is a blind as a branch on a tree
On the other side, on the other side
I know what's waiting for me on the other side
On the other side, on the other side
I know you're waiting for me on the other side
-The Strokes
I'm feeling moody and lonely. I've gotten back into the Strokes lately. It's upbeat and tends not to be terribly happy. (kinda like me)
I read a really good poem today. I had to read it aloud because it was so good. I hadn't read it in a while but it's still as good as I remembered it.
I got a splinter in my hand last night. It aches.
I just want someone I can talk to, the way talking is supposed to be.
"I dont want to change your mind,
I don't want to waste your time,
I just want to know you're alright.
I've got to know you're alright.
You are young darling,
for now but not for long."

"Talk to Me,
In your own language please"
Am I not on speed dial?
