In Memory of Cassandra

Women be wise, keep your mouth shut, don't advertise your man Don't sit around gossiping, explaining what your good man really can do Some women nowadays, Lord they ain't no good They will laugh in your face, Then try to steal your man from you Women be wise, keep your mouth shut, don't advertise your man Don't be no fool

Lesson: Lemons are Sour.

So another failed love affair to add to the mess I call my heart.
I'm not looking for forever, I just want a smile.
But everyone's been crippled by someone else's axe.
Zeus was premature to be so involved, we split ourselves
The only love I've ever known denies my memory to ease his pain
I accept my demonic mask as the resevoir of my feeling lasts
overly poetic language dulls the screams of "why"
my feelings are stifled by my language, trite and meaningless
I tend to drown in whatever body of water I find myself drinking from

Zeus was never able to truly split us, there still exists the intangible that binds us together.

And not everyone is crippled.

You may be knocked down now, but you will be up again soon. There is a hand to help you waiting for you to ask for it.

Omnes amator miles et Amori campi sui.

Every lover, a soldier
and to Love, his battlefields.
